The IC-F3022 series is the successor to the best selling IC-F3G series. Targeted at business in general, the IC-F3022 series retains the simplicity of operation of is predecessor while having a similar design and construction with our latest IC-F3062 series. The IC-F3022 series provides many attractive features such as a large capacity Li-Ion battery pack, wide frequency coverage and a compact and light weight body which provides dust protection and splash resistance to IP-54. The IC-F3022 series is a radio designed like a high-end model, but offers features for simple everyday operation.

128 memory channels and button control memory channel
The IC-F3022/F4022 series has 128 memory channels with 8 zones. Memory channel selection can be made easily with the up/down buttons laid out below the PTT button.

Lithium-Ion battery pack and rapid charger as standard
The IC-F3022/F4022 series shares Lithium-Ion battery packs with the IC-F3062, IC-F34G and IC-F15 series. The IC-F3022/F4022 series is supplied with the BP-231 1150mAh li-Ion battery pack (provides 9 hours* of operating time) and BC-160 desktop rapid charger as standard. An optional BP-232 larger capacity battery pack and BP-230 economical battery packs are also available. Lithium-Ion batteries provide larger capacity and a longer operating time than a Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery pack and allow flexible charging without memory effect. * Typical operation Tx:Rx: Standby=5:5:90

Compact lightweight body
The IC-F3022/F4022 series shares a similar design to the IC-F3062/F3062 series. The large size 10- key buttons have ample button-pitch to allow blind touch operation. The IC-F3022/F4022 series is also smaller and lighter than the IC-F3G series. The rugged aluminium die-cast chassis allows for long-life usage in various environments.

IP54 dust-protection and splash resistance
The IC-F3022/F4022 series meets IP54 requirements for dust-protection and splash resistance. The aluminium die-cast chassis is the basis for this rugged construction, allowing long-life usage in various environments.

Multi 2-tone/5-tone function built-in
The IC-F3022/F4022 series has built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS and DTCS signaling for group communication or selective calling. The IC-F3020/F4022 series can decode ten 2-tone codes or eight 5-tone codes on a channel. When a matched tone is received, many actions are programmable for each code (e.g. answer back calls, beep sounds, bell icon, radio stun/kill, scan etc.)

8 Programmable buttons
The 8 buttons are programmable to meet specific needs.  The RED button on the top panel can be assigned as an emergency trigger

Internal option units available
The IC-F3022 series has an internal 40-pin socket for a variety of option units including voice scrambler and DTMF decoder units.

Wide frequency coverage
The IC-F3022/F4022 series covers a wide frequency range with one version (136–174, 400–470 MHz). Wide, middle and narrow channel spacing (25, 20, 12.5kHz) is programmable per channel. * Cannot program 25 and 20 kHz at the same time.

Alphanumeric LCD
The IC-F3022/F4022 series features an 8-character 14 segment alphanumeric LCD is employed to make a variety of information visually recognizable at a glance. An automatic LCD backlight is standard for night time operation.  A separate row of operational icons indicate battery, signal strength, RX/TX and other radio conditions.


Same options as the IC-F44G series
Battery packs, antenna, speaker-microphone and headsets are compatible with our IC-F44G series. The optional trickle desktop charger, BC-171 offers the option of a cost effective charger alternative.
