The IC-F41GT/GS
series is a very popular high grade advanced handheld radio. Featuring two
optional internal slots, this board series has allowed the addition of a Man
Down unit & Voice Scrambler Unit thus maximising the capability of this
system radio. However, this series did not have a FFSK unit and MPT trunking
facilities…until now. The launch of the new MPT trunking version of the
IC-F41GT/GS (MT version) marks a further expansion of the Icom Commercial
product range. Compatible with MPT 1327, 1343 as well as MAP 27 data
communication protocol, this new variant has all these technical features and
rugged construction of the original but goes one step further making it useful
for large-scale communication requirements such as airports, industrial plants,
delivery companies and other organisations.

Short Data Message capability: You can send and receive up to 24 character
short data messages.
Complies with MAP 27 data transfer protocol: The IC-F41GT/GS (MT version)
allows data exchange by connecting a PC or other external terminals with an
RS-232C interface. This allows you to call individuals or groups and exchange:
1. Up to 100 character extended data messages or
2. Up to 736 bits binary data file, as well as status messaging.
3. Up to 9600-baud data transfer rate is possible.
Optional Voice Scrambler Unit: An optional voice-scrambling unit can ensure
private communication.
32 conventional channels: Each channel can be selectable from wide/narrow
spacing with CTCSS setting.
5 digit routing for abbreviated dial: Prefix and fleet numbers can be
abbreviated to a 2 or 3-digit code.
MIL Spec. rugged construction: Meets MIL STD 810 C, D, E for low pressure,
temperature, shock, vibration etc.
Full Off-Air Call Set Up: will easily find the most convenient channel
2 lines x 12 character LCD: Calling name, number, status messaging and radio
status are indicated on this large alphanumeric LCD display
Up to 24 alphanumeric phone list
32 status call codes: Status messages such as "busy",
"off-duty" etc can be sent and received
15 call back memories: Up to 15 unanswered calls can be stored.
Redial function: Pressing * key twice will redial your last number
Emergency or priority calling: These can take priority over other calls
Call diversion: When you don't want to receive calls, you can direct a call to
another unit. You can even request calls, which are addressed to another unit,
to redirect them to an alternative unit.
Include Call: During the call, other members can be called up and join the
conversation
Group Call (conference call & broadcast call): Group call allows you to
communicate with more than one unit. Conference call allows speaking to all
members. Broadcast call is an announcement made where only the caller can
speak.
Built in VOX capability (coming soon): The built in VOX capability provides
hands-free operation. An optional headset is required.
AF compander and audio processor are built in for excellent audio quality
Flash ROM makes it easy to customise and upgrade system software
9 pin multi connector provides a closer contact with accessories such as a
speaker microphone or a headset
