Steve Anning receives Hytera Engineering Award

M.R.S. Communications win Hytera Engineering Award

Award Winning Engineers

M.R.S. Communications were recently delighted to win a Hytera Engineering Award. Hytera, one of the world’s leading radio manufacturers launched these monthly awards back in 2015 to recognise the outstanding skill of the top engineers in the radio industry. This particular award covers Hytera UK’s territory which encompasses the UK, Ireland, France, Scandinavia and BeNeLux.

M.R.S. Communications Engineer, Steve Anning was nominated for his work with Hytera’s Smart Dispatch PC-based dispatcher as well as Hytera’s PD6 series portable DMR radio. This combination is a particular favourite for those migrating to digital from analogue radio. Smart Dispatch allows an operator in a control room to talk to, track, record and monitor other staff in their organisation using Hytera DMR radios. This is often vital in emergencies but also perfect for accountability and efficiency in day-to-day operation. Hytera’s PD6 series radio is robust, easy-to-use and offers outstanding audio quality.

Hytera UK Key Account Manager Daniel Frith praised Steve Anning and M.R.S.’ achievement, saying “This award recognised all the hard work and the dedication M.R.S. and their engineers show. Steve in particular has shown incredible skill when it comes to Hytera DMR and, in particular, Smart Dispatch. In over 8 years of working with radio dispatching solutions, I have never seen an engineer pick up a dispatcher as fast as Steve did. This is made all the more impressive given the fact he has not been working with DMR solutions for as long as many in the industry.”

M.R.S. Communications  Managing Director David Horton also praised both M.R.S and Hytera engineers.

So well done to Steve and our engineering department who are incredibly committed to providing our customers with robust, reliable and feature-rich communication solutions.
