As part of their work with Swansea City Centre and District, M.R.S. Swansea BID, the first BID district in Wales, aim to promote the interests of over 850 BID businesses and to develop the perception of Swansea as a great place to shop, study, stay, visit and do business.

This announcement comes at the same time M.R.S. Communications celebrate their 40th year in business, having been in operation since 1978. The company has been providing organisations with innovative and cost-effective two way radio systems for the last 40 years. Using the latest technology, their team of specialist technicians create tailored solutions to suit specific communication needs. Their radio systems have been utilised in helping to reduce crime and improve security in town and retail centres, hospitals, high streets, car parks and university campuses across the UK, bringing safety, security and expert communication to their clients.

David Horton, Managing Director at M.R.S. Communications, comments on the partnership:

“Our partnership with Swansea City Centre and District has gone from strength to strength, and it’s great to see how we have developed together over the last 20 years. Our continued partnership with Swansea City Centre and District shows that M.R.S Communications are a reliable and dedicated company, while our strategic partnership with Swansea BID is helping us lead the way in security technology, providing our customers with a tailored service to fit their individual needs. We would like to thank Swansea City Centre and District for their continued support, and hope that our relationship will continue to grow.”

Swansea BID is currently organising a re-launch event to take place in Swansea sometime in February. M.R.S. Communications have been asked to attend the event to talk to BID businesses about the value of StoreNet, a system that allows communities to be in instant communication with each other. The StoreNet system provides a proactive approach to reducing and managing crime. More details about the event to follow.
