C.A.S.E.D (Doncaster)

THE CHALLENGE

C.A.S.E.D (Creating a Safer Environment in Doncaster) is a not for profit organisation serving its members in Doncaster Town Centre. The organisation works in partnership with Doncaster Council, South Yorkshire Police, SentrySIS and M.R.S. Communications. Their main aim is to reduce and monitor crime and anti-social behaviour in Doncaster.

C.A.S.E.D had been using a deficient radio system for some years after a strike of lightning damaged their infrastructure. This left the day time system completely unserviceable and the night time economy system was intermittent.

THE SOLUTION

M.R.S. Communications were approached by C.A.S.E.D to offer a solution to their communication problems. Upon review of their circumstances, M.R.S. implemented a TRBOnet command and control software management suite. The system not only enables C.A.S.E.D to  assist with criminal enquiries from a police perspective, but also informs and educates their members to be more proactive with crime prevention.  

Doncaster now has a stable, reliable and improved digital communications system that allows its members to easily communicate with each other. C.A.S.E.D are extremely happy with the communications system they have received, and regularly use recordings from the software to assist with their debriefs.
